Slaide Coach: Rehearse Your Talk Out Loud

Practice a talk slide by slide with spoken feedback on timing and pace, or let Listen mode read the deck back to you hands free.

Coach helps you give the talk, not just build the deck. It opens as its own calm, full-screen space — not the editor.

Open Coach

In the web app, find the Coach button next to Slides and Theme. Coach is also on the iOS app.

Coach turns your talk into a path: every slide is a step. Slides you’ve rehearsed stay checked, and the next one is highlighted.

Practice one slide

  1. The slide sits on top. The coach speaks one short sentence about what this slide must get across.
  2. Press Start speaking and present the slide out loud. A live waveform and timer track you against the slide’s planned time.
  3. The coach answers back with one short spoken note — on timing, pace, filler words, or a point you skipped.
  4. If your words leave out something the slide needs, the coach offers to fix it. Choose Add it or No thanks.

Move to the next slide and repeat until the path is done.

Run complete

At the end of a run, Coach shows your total time against the plan, gives one spoken summary, and lists the few things to work on — each one links back to its slide. Press Practice to redo just the weak slides.

Listen mode

Listen mode presents your deck back to you, sentence by sentence, hands free — good for a last pass on the way to the meeting. It keeps playing with the phone locked, using the lock-screen controls.

Coach speaks the language of your talk, English or German.

Free vs. plan

Listen mode and the timer are free. The AI coach — spoken briefs, feedback, and slide fixes — needs a Slaide plan. See the pricing section for the plans.

Tips

  • Speak the slide out loud, at your normal pace. Reading it silently gives the coach nothing to judge.
  • Say enough words. The coach judges pace and timing only once you’ve spoken enough to measure.
