Build a Deck with the Slaide AI

Describe a deck in a few sentences. The AI plans it, designs the theme, writes the slides and reviews them. Then you steer it by chat or edit by hand.

You describe the deck you need. The AI plans it, picks a theme, writes the slides and checks the result. You can steer it with more messages or finish it by hand in the editor.

Build a deck

  1. Open the web app and click New deck, or tap Start with AI in the mobile app.
  2. Choose how the theme starts. Pick a new theme, or reuse a saved brand or the theme of another deck.
  3. Write your brief in the chat box. Name the audience, the length and the tone.
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Watch the four phases: Planning, Theme, Slides and Review. The slides appear on the canvas as the AI writes them.
  6. Keep typing to steer it. Press Esc to stop a running turn.

Give the AI material to work from

Add material to the chat before you press Enter:

  • Pictures. Attach an image, or use the screen capture button in the chat box to show the AI a part of your screen.
  • A spreadsheet. Attach a .csv, .tsv, .xlsx, .xls or .xlsm file. The AI uses the rows and the column totals.
  • A folder of pictures. Share a local folder. The AI asks for single files when it needs them.
  • Your media library. In the web app, limit the AI to chosen folders with What the AI may use.

Keep the brand

Click Brands on the dashboard to store your company name and colors. The AI reuses them. A theme can also carry its own rules. See AI guidance in Theme Studio.

Change the deck after the first draft

Ask in the chat, for example: “Make slide 4 a chart of the three numbers above.” The AI edits the deck, and you see the edits on the slides. You can also edit by hand at any time. The editor works the same on an AI deck as on any other deck.

Every AI edit is saved as a version. You can restore an earlier version.

On the phone

While the AI works, the chat folds into a small status pill on the canvas. The pill shows the phase and the time. Tap it to open the chat again. If you leave the app, the run goes on at the server.

The app has an AI language setting with the choices System, Deutsch and English.

Plans and limits

Your first AI deck is free. After that, AI generation needs a plan. When you reach a limit, the chat shows one message with a button to upgrade. See the pricing section.
